To Gwen and family - I'm so sorry to learn of Bill's passing. He became my Chief officer soon after I started my Building Control career in 1979 and I remember him to be a great mentor and a much respected Section Head who also had a great sense of humour. He was one of the best colleagues I've worked with in my 41 - year career and I'll never forget him.
